Today I want to remind you that the "All Iowa Shop Hop" is just around the corner!
I know it has been a while since I have posted on the blog and with good reason. No excuses, just been crazy busy like all of you. Everyone at the store worked hard and long to prepare for the Golden Ticket Bus Tour during the month of May. Next it was off to International Quilt Market was in Kansas City and yes, Lesley M. and I found some really cool new patterns, notions and ideas to bring your way for classes, etc. Can't wait to share them with all of you! Here's a glance at just a small portion I brought back, the rest will be arriving daily on the big brown truck.
This week was a catch up week and time for me to spend time with family. I hope you plan to enjoy and spend time with your family over the holiday weekend. Which brings me to a fun couple weeks on the horizon. The All Iowa Shop Hop starts this coming Friday June 1st and lasts through June 14th. There is over 90 stores participating. Did you know Iowa had that many quilt shops? You can pick up a passport at any participating shop and start your journey. Pick up your passport and get it stamped at each location for a chance to win over $5,000 worth of prizes. Each shop will also be giving away a $50 gift basket so your chances increase to win awesome stuff! Collect a 6" pattern block FREE & purchase a quilt block kit from each shop to put together your own journey quilt. All stores open 7 days a week during the hop with extended hours.
