The Stockings are Hung

This time of year we decorate and prepare for the holiday season. With the crazy schedules of everyday life I have to say I am happy to report that the tree is finally lit and the stockings are hung. Now for checking off the shopping list and doing a bit of baking. Better yet I should say making some snacks for the season. The fellas in my house tend to like snacks instead of sweets. So I thought I would share one of our favorites in hopes that you might want to make up something new to share during the holiday.
Crispix Snack Mix
1 Box Crispix
1 Bag Cheese Curls
1 Bag Fritos
1 Bag Pretzels
1 Jar peanuts
Put in paper bag. Mix together: 1 cup veagtible oil, 1 pkg ranch dressing dry seasoning mix, 1 tsp garlic, 1 tsp lemon pepper. Stir until well mixed, pour over cereal mix a bit at a time and shake well continue to coat cereal until well seasoned. Lay cereal out on paper towels to dry. Store in covered container and enjoy!
