Fit to be Quarter Progress & More

This month has been flying by!  Promising to show you progress on the Spades quilt here are a few blocks.  Gonna love the colors in this lap quilt.

Spades Quilt blocks

Every quilter seems to have more than one sewing project in the works and I find myself being no different.  This past weekend my friend Audra and I had the pleasure to join Monique Dillard of Open Gate quilts and a few of her friends for a quilt retreat.  One more day would have been awesome!  Lots of flying geese in black and white came together to create these stunning blocks.  Now to put the blocks together and complete the quilt Housesitter.  Maybe over the 4th of July a quilt top will be created with these blocks. An extra day and I wold have had it all together.

  • Love the black and white flying geese! For some reason I have problems with geese and HST's, mine are always wonky. Mandy http://mandmplus3.blogspot.com/
