Hi Everyone!

What a night on main it was with our good friend Monique. When she told me about her new book, I asked her to come to the shop for a book signing.  She readily agreed.  We wanted to make this event very special for the release of her new book "Fat Quarter Winners".  We had appetizers, wine tastings and specials at the shop.  It was a wonderful turn out and there were familiar faces to Monique plus a few new ones. Thank you for joining her in this celebration!

A great BIG THANK YOU goes to Shirley from C&T for making sure we got the books.  They were delayed earlier in the week, so you can imagine how excited I was to get her call on Friday!  BIG SMILE ON MY FACE. Friday night I called Monique and gave her good news.  C&T had the books in their warehouse and were going to overnight the books.  So we would have them for the book signing!  YEAH!!  I was thrilled because after all, Monique was going to be here and what's a book signing with no books?!

I met Monique at Quilt Market several years ago and found that we have the same passions. Ever since we keep in touch and make plans to have her visit.  If you check out our pattern selection you can see a section devoted to "Open Gate".  If you haven't tried one of her patterns or rulers stop in and we will show you why they are so awesome.   Oh, by the way we are planning something special this October with Monique, stay in touch for future details.
