Excitement was in the air at Quilter's Window this past weekend!  We participated in a Crafty Quilter Bus tour and were fortunate to have Monique Dillard of Open Gate Quilts with us.  She shared her great rulers, patterns and books. Plus the release of her newest book "Diamond Traditions" coming out in May.  We are taking pre-orders for the book if any of you are interested.

The days seem to be flying by but the snow just doesn't want to leave.  Are you ready for Spring?  Here in Iowa Spring can not come fast enough. Overcast at times today, it was nice to see sunshine peek out to brighten Easter Sunday. My Family had Easter last weekend so today was a free day at the Sinnwell household. Yeah!

While putting my blocks together for the Blogger Girls I got swept away in my sewing space.  Love it!  Need more personal retreats like today.  How are you all coming with your Blogger Girl Blocks?

Quilter's Fun Run

We had a great time meeting new quilting friends and visiting with the quilting regulars this past weekend during the Quilter's Fun Run Shop Hop.  Each participant had a fun run pass to  stamp at each store, collected a free pattern piece with the option to purchase a fat quarter bundle to complete the shop hop featured quilt. Quilt designed by Monique Dillard of Open Gate Quilts. Here is our version of "Get to the Point".  Hope you had a great time!
